I write because I must
I write because it is the life force
that sustains my good cheer
my hope for the present
and the future

I write because it opens
me up
to the adventure of possibilities
and the possibility of adventures

I write
because without it
I am shut down and closed off
to the magic
of life
and therefore
of me…and of you

I write
because it speaks
to who I am
who and how I want to be,
my personal dreams
aspirations, goals and longings

I write
because it is my connection
with the divine
in me
in us
in all
